5 Rumors that a Tech Savvy Need to Know

Being a tech savvy is hard especially these past few years. Ever since the big smartphone boom, electronic companies like Apple, Sony and Microsoft are always finding ways to improve their products thus enabling them to release better versions of their product after a certain period of time. Getting a knack for finding out about what these major companies are planning is one of the best thrills for tech savvies.

Is Siri coming in to Mac?
Since the release of iPhone 4s, Siri has become one of the most talked about computer icon. From Day 1, Siri has lived to the expectations of most Apple product consumers but is it really that good to put Siri into Macs as well? This hunch was formulated due to the recent job opening in Apple -- "Siri UI Engineer". It is a job that requires someone who has certain knowledge about UNIX especially its child, the Mac OS X.

Sony's PlayStation 4 specs
The word around the gaming community is that Sony is all setup to release the next kin to their successful lineage of gaming consoles – the PlayStation 4. Since PS3 has been out for quite some time now, gamers believed that it is about time for the next one to take the stage. There are a lot of talks and fuss about the specs and from a tech savvy's point of view, it's pretty sweet. According to a "reliable source" the new PlayStation will have an 8GB RAM, an AMD R10xx GPU and a 2.2 GB video memory all for the sake of a better gaming experience.

Apple's Recent Patent
Just recently, Apple has patented on what looks to be a plan for a wireless charger. Since the patent was filed way back in 2010, there's no telling whether a wireless future is possible or not. According to the patent, all gadgets that are within the computing environment can be charged. The plan includes a power supply that is packed with NFMR that will emit electrical current which can be used by the devices given that they have a NFMR resonator. If this were true, then who knows what effect it can cause to the way we use things.

XBOX 720 for Christmas
According to what the rumor mill is churning, the latest gaming console from Microsoft will be release late this year (2013). The next generation XBOX will be invading the stores as well as your wallet this Christmas holidays. Also, according to some sources, Sony's PlayStation 4 will be released around that time as well.

Samsung's Protégé
Will the next generation Samsung Galaxy be unveiled this March then hit the shelves by April? There are has been a lot of rumors recently that the Samsung Galaxy S4 will be release earlier this year. According to an insider, the said smartphone will be available for consumers sometime around the third week of April this year. Some experts say that if these rumors were true, then Samsung Galaxy S4 seems a little premature since S3's released hasn't been that long.

When it comes to rumors about electronics, know that there are plenty -- so many that you can't know which ones are reliable and which ones are just pieces and bits that are mashed together. The key knows how to filter these rumors but given the way that modern technology is progressing, it's almost impossible.
